Finally the
start of another season, seems like so long ago that we were at Waikato
for the final round of the 2003 Top Half Series.

at Redhills Rallyesport?
- Updated
Engine / Cooling System
We have spent considerable time in the off-season updating our engine
and cooling system. We had found over last year, that the car was getting
too hot, and that along with other factors was causing the head gasket
problems we had been having. So, with advise from all sorts of angles,
companies and individuals we have added a new Legacy radiator, with nearly
twice the capacity of the old Leone radiator, it keeps the temperature
down to a sensible level. We have renewed 90% of the engines internals,
and it is proving to be a big step up over last year.
- Test
Day.
Yep, we had a test day a few weeks ago, Thanks to the Waikato District
council, and Turner Motorsport for allowing us the chance to do a pre-season
gravel test. It was a great road, and a fantastic day to test the car
with really hot, fine weather. The car ran faultlessly over approx. 80km
on a 8km closed road, so it bodes well for our 04 Season.
- Brakes
Last year at Taranaki we had brake problems, with the brakes disappearing
about halfway through each stage. After consulting a few people, we have
hopefully fixed this, by upgrading our brake fluid...I will know about
5km into the first stage at Taranaki if it has been cured.

Coming Up
We are off
to the Taranaki
Tarmac Rally on the 24th April. This is based in New Plymouth,and
last year we started at 92 and finished 5th in Class E, 58th o/a. This
year we are seeded 106 and will be aiming to beat last years finish. There
is 10 competitive stages, 197km of tarmac roads, around Mt Taranaki. This
is a great event, with really fast roads, and huge straights, and some
of the scenery up on the mountain is awesome. Full results and stage times
