It's been a while, so I thought I had better update you all on what has been happening, and what we are doing this year.

Firstly, I would like to welcome Sandy Bansal on board, who will be my codriver for 2003. It will be his first experience of rallying, having only competed on one sprint event with us, and a few rides with other teams.

Over the break we have had a bit of maintenance to do. As we had plenty of time, we have fully rebuilt the engine and added an intercooler to hopefully get the air temp down a bit, and bit more power. Other than that, as the car didn't do many km's last year, it hasn't need much more work. To trial the changes we ran it in at the Metalman Recyclers Sprints at Pukekohe Park Raceway. All went well, and it was a good chance to get back behind the wheel, and to have Sandy in the car to get him used to it.

So, what are we doing this year? The Winger Subaru Top Half Series. This consists of 6 rounds in the top half of the North Island. One in particular I am really looking forward to is Rally Rotorua, where we will run behind the International Rally Rotorua. We will get to experience the famous Motu and Manawahae stages...I can't wait. To see our event calender, please click here.
