2002 - Round Four Preview
Rally of the North - 17th August 2002

This weekend we are off the sunny climes of the Bay of Islands to contest round 4 of the Winger Subaru / Rock FM Top Half Series.

The week is going to be little busy, as we have a lot of work to do on the car before Saturday's event. There is the little issue of a couple of compression-less cylinders to repair...ahh, there is nothing like a rebuild just before an event...NOT!! Much like Geoff Argyle in the New Zealand Rally Champs and his engine problems, we must have some reliability soon!!!!

Based in Paihia, the day will consist of 8 special stages totaling approx. 160km. Run over many of the same roads as last year (only in reverse) it will be a real drivers event, the roads are fast and well cambered.

We are car number 57 and are 61st on the road. Not the best place to be (as the roads can to tend to cut up if the weather is wet) but it will still be very, very enjoyable.
