2002 - A new season begins

Welcome to the 2002 Rally Season.

It's been a long summer break. We have been busy preparing and updating the car for this years 2002 Rock FM / Winger Top Half Series. The entire front suspension has been overhauled along with a major reductoin in weight by removing all the interior lining and sound deadener. We have repainted the front of the car since last years off, and upgraded the rim/tyre combination from 13" to 14"...so it's nearly ready to go.

This year we will be concentrating on the entire Winger Subaru / Rock FM Top Half Series. This starts in Hamilton on April 6th, and consists of five events this year. For more info, click here. Our goal for this season is a to get a couple top 25 finishes, as well as finishing each round. Each round will have the Neil Allport Pace Note system, and will mean we will have a better idea of the road, and be able to attack the stages a bit more.

First event of 2002 is 24th March, a dual rallysprint based in Pukekohe. It will be a good test, as it is two stages, each 9km long, and they are nice tight twisty roads. We will be able to make sure all the new compnents are working, and get back into the groove, as the driver may be a little rusty after 5mths off...For last years review, click here
